Easter revisited..
I had all intentions of having a Martha Stewart Easter..complete with handmade chocolates and naturally colored eggs..but alas...we ended up settling for sugar cookies out of a box and food coloring eggs. It was still fun nonetheless and the girls don't know any different. Maybe one day my domestic goddess will rear it's head, probably not anytime soon though.
I think I have some "not martha's" in the making -
Or at the very least, professional egg dyers!

lol....It looks like the girls had fun even sans the Martha Stewart-y stuff. :~)
Your Easter sounds pretty similar to what happened here in our house...fun all around for everyone involved.

Your girls are adorable. I meant to leave a comment on your last post... I am so impressed with the little dresses and such that you sew. They are just beautiful.

I love that you stripped them to dye the eggs. We always dye them in undershirts.

Heather,
What beautiful darling girls! Great idea to dye the eggs without clothes too! We did the Martha natural dye thing this year and thinking they would be beautifully soft colored and that I would want to save some for next year I blew out the insides before dye-ing them. My opinion? Not worth the time and effort. Shells did not take the dye uniformly - results were splotchy. Some dyes took forever to achieve a noticeable color saturation. And finally after a week or two the dyes had faded so much that I ended up throwing them all away! Definitely not worth all the trouble. It's Paas for us next time!
